Who You Are….
As a concrete finisher, you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and applying yourself to a hands-on project. You are good at understanding and following directions and take pride in the important role you play in building projects and positively impacting communities.
Some of the important things you will do…
- Work on commercial, industrial, residential, and high-rise projects on small and large buildings.
- Spread, level, smooth, shape and finish freshly placed concrete on a wide variety of structures.
- Prepare sites for concrete work by leveling or contouring the ground, building, and setting concrete forms, cutting, and placing reinforcement materials, and similar activities.
- You will use hand tools and power equipment.
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications; perform the necessary tasks according to required standards for dimensions and finish.
- Assure all tools and equipment are clean, in safe working order and properly maintained. Recognize and report job site hazards and defects in tools and equipment.
Must haves….
- Experience in concrete finishing or equivalent training
- Appropriate hand tools
It’s a plus...
- If you possess an American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Flatwork Technician certification or equivalent combo of training and experience.
